Warriors End

Site updates: Oct 22, 2008

Latest games from the Mochi feed are now shown on the main games pages. These are games that show Mochi ads that support developers.

Added a way to sort games by category, and then sorting that subset by title, date added and play count.

I'll be gradually adding to this site while working on new games. I'll be releasing another game in the coming months, so look for it soon!

Nimja Clanquest

Just added a "new" game called Nimja Clanquest that I finished about 4 months ago. It's based on Risk (although I've never played Risk in my life) and rock-paper-scissors. I wanted to see how players would like the random based battle and simple group battle mechanics. I'm planning on creating a similar group battle game where you won't need to individually control each character(selecting a unit, choosing an action and then a target) and instead just choose an action and have the rules of the game decide how the action is performed.

New Games...coming...soon

Ok maybe not quite so soon, but I'm currently working on a couple of games that I'm really excited about. I hope to finish them before years end (as I find time to work on them) but just wanted anyone who wanted to know, to know.

I'm hoping to make changes to this site as well. I have a couple of ideas that I want to work on but we'll see how much time I have to work on games and the site.

Saving the World!

Gas prices have been pretty high recently so in an effort to save some money, and cut down on my carbon footprint (possibly), I've been taking public transport (riding the MAX and bus) and walking. It takes me approximately 25 minutes to walk two miles. How do I know this? Instead of waiting for the bus (which would have arrived in 17 minutes) I decided that I would try walking to work from the MAX station. I had taken the bus yesterday and it didn't seem to be that far so I thought it would be a pretty quick walk. I didn't realize it was two miles away...

Incase anyone missed it...

This has been going around for at least a few days now but thought I'd put this up for anyone who missed it.

And for those who don't know, he ended up winning the whole thing.

Flash Game: Cave Escaper

Just added Cave Escaper. I've only played the first few levels, but I liked what I saw so far so I had to post it. The main goal of the game is to navigate your character to the exit indicated by the arrow. You can use your rope to swing or use your dynamite to blow up rocks.

Flash Game: Music Catch

There haven't been many games that I have liked recently, but this one did get me to play all the way through, which I usually don't do (I have a short attention span). Have a go at it, it's a pretty simple concept and I liked the music.

Quake updates

I know I've said that I would post stories about what others have done to help out with the relief efforts in China. I've read quite a few stories but can't seem to remember to write them all down, so doing a simple Google Search I am going to link to a few that I read today. These aren't the tear jerkers I had read before but you can see that a lot of people are coming out and showing their support.

Amy Yang donates prize to Chinese earthquake

Helping those in need

I've added a new link that leads to the American Red Cross donation page. It's actually to the International Response Fund with the option to select the Chinese Earthquake Relief. I was inspired by my girlfriend to make a donation and am kind of disappointed in myself for not doing so before. I usually don't like it when people do something nice and then talk about it, but the more I talk about it, the more it makes me want to help. Hopefully I can inspire others to donate, just as my girlfriend had done for me.
